BITCOIN BREAKS $100K BARRIER

Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency, has surged past the $100,000 mark. This significant milestone, achieved on December 4th, highlights the growing adoption and increasing value of digital assets.

HARVARD MAKES 1 MILLION BOOKS AVAILABLE TO TRAIN AI MODELS

At the Institutional Data Initiative (IDI), a new program hosted within the Harvard Law School Library, it was announced that Harvard Library is releasing a high-quality dataset of nearly 1 million public-domain books that could be used by anyone to train large language models and other AI tools.

“Libraries and other stewards of humanity’s aggregated knowledge can think in terms of centuries — preserving it and providing access both for known uses and for aims completely unanticipated,” said Library Innovation Lab faculty director, Jonathan Zittrain, the George Bemis Professor of International Law at Harvard Law School and Vice Dean of the Harvard Law School Library.
